International Scientific and Practical Conference “Dual Education in the Context of European Integration: Economic, Legal and Social Aspects”

On 27 November 2025, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Dual Education in the Context of European Integration: Economic, Legal and Social Aspects” was held by the Scientific and Methodological Center for Higher and Professional Pre-Higher Education (NMC VFPO, Kyiv) in partnership with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung in Ukraine.
 

The event gathered representatives of higher and professional pre-higher education institutions, employers, researchers and experts from Ukraine and partner countries. Participants discussed the legal and social protection of students in dual education, the synergy between business and education, the importance of dual education during wartime and reconstruction, regulatory and methodological frameworks, monitoring and quality assurance, and challenges in organizing the practical component of dual study programmes. Particular attention was devoted to successful Ukrainian case studies and pilot project results, which demonstrated the potential of dual education to enhance the quality of training and strengthen alignment with labour market needs.
