Ukraine seeks to build friendly strategic relations with the countries of the African continent, based on mutual respect for basic values and international principles. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated this in an interview with African journalists held in the President's Office. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine organized a press tour for 15 journalists from 10 African countries from November 11 to 17. Journalists from Angola, Botswana, Guinea, Zambia, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, South Africa, Senegal and Tunisia came to Ukraine.The trip was supported by the International Renaissance Foundation and the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung. During their stay in Ukraine, the delegation visited Odesa, Bucha and Irpin and had meetings with top officials of Ukraine in Kyiv, in particular with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba and others.
